]]> Per CNN, the threatening cyclone spinning towards the Gulf Coast has intensified early today (Thursday) becoming Tropical Storm Barry. As the storm intensifies and strengthens in the Gulf of Mexico millions are under flood risk. #TropicalStormBarry is anticipated to become a hurricane, and is expected to reach Louisiana on Saturday with average wind speeds topping 74 mph. As of 11am this morning, Barry has reached wind speeds of 40 mph in the Gulf of Mexico. Many residents in New Orleans and surrounding cities have already begun experiencing the detrimental effects of this storm. Those in the direct path of the storm must begin preparing and stay alert to any new updates.
